That’s what his mommy called him and I love it. It’s a sentimental nickname for me seeing as how it also belonged to my 16yr old daughter once upon a time. It seems like just yesterday she was our little primate and now she is growing up. Sigh… I digress. Let’s get to the good stuff

Quick story about why I just love this one ~ His mommy’s voice is an INSTANT soother and right before this shot he was getting quite sick of the lady with camera and all her demands You can just see in his little face that “mommy makes it all better”. I hope someday when her monkey is 16 this brings back the memory of him as a sweet baby loving her magic touch.♥ ♥

The Calgary baby boom continues to roll through the studio and I continue to be in heaven cuddling up with brand new little people. What’s not to love? At the risk of sounding like a broken record… oh who am I kidding? I am a broken record but I shall say it again anyway… I have the best job ever!

This baby girl came to visit last week at 10 days young and was absolute perfection for her debut photo shoot. I’m completely addicted to “baby safe in arms” shots lately and probably always will be. They show all the things I love about newborns; new, tiny, vulnerable, protected, safe, loved.
