Check out this sweet teeny little guy that came to visit me last weekend.  He was tipping the scale at 5 whole lbs (getting close to 6 . His daddy is away and missing him like crazy so I promised mom a blog preview as soon as possible.  Thanks for the awesome session – it was great meeting you. I have been on a serious unlucky streak lately with catching newborn smiles. It seems like every time I put my camera down I miss one.  But, check this out – I think my luck may finally be changing. And some eye contact to top it off – he gets a gold star!

I have decided that I have a really great job. Cuddling up to a newborn baby is just plain good for the soul! This little girl couldn’t have been a better sport at only 10 days old.  She was a perfect, sleepy, squishy little newborn and gave us a bunch of great shots.
