It’s almost time to say trick or treat and this little pumpkin was definitely a treat!  She was sweet, wide awake and a very alert baby girl giving us some wonderful shots of of her pretty little eyes.   Of course I can’t ever call it a wrap until I get that sleepy shot and with a little coaxing she also gave us some wonderful images of a peaceful little rest.   Mom and Grandma – it was really great meeting you and baby “J”. Also, before we get to what really matters – a couple of housekeeping things I need to quick mention.  We are getting down to the wire for child/family holiday photos and there are  just a couple of openings to guarantee images by Christmas.   If you are wanting to get in for a session please contact me right away to avoid missing out as November availability is limited and I will only be able to accommodate newborn clients in the month of December.   And last but not least, a while back I promised a big announcement.  I didn’t forget and in the next post you will get all the details so stay tuned – VERY exciting!!

I’ll say it again, I have the very best job. I love working with babies, and I’m always excited to meet a newborn after a maternity session, but I have to say that I’m extra excited to meet this little girl when she comes into the world. What makes her so special you say? Well, her family is our family and they are very dear friends. This beautiful mama to be is married to my husband’s first cousin so if you want to get technical, we are cousin’s in law but to us they are just plain “family”.

I had a hard time picking just a few to share but in the end decided that this series of big brother’s performance needed to be showcased. At almost 2 yrs old, he was hard to catch, but in the end came through for us with some beautiful stuff. Thanks for a great session, and more so for all of the great times we always have in our summer traveling caravan I can’t wait to meet your new baby girl!
