I have decided that I’m really bad at resolutions for the new year. Why? Well, I had two this year… to lay off a certain popular coffee chain and to be a better blogger. So far, I have spent a large portion of January in the drive through of that place with really good coffee, AND… the blog has not been updated since mid December. Sigh… what can I say? November and December were crazy busy months for me and the poor blog just didn’t get much attention in the middle of the holiday rush and all the prep work for the new studio.

Speaking of the new studio, the holidays brought on some delays and we didn’t make the target opening date of the new year, but I’m happy to report that everything with permits and renovations is now moving along smoothly and we have a new target opening date of 3/1/10. Whooo Hoooo!!! Stay tuned for an exciting announcement on a grand opening special, which I will start taking bookings for next month

As for bookings prior to the studio opening, there are a few openings left for February and with the renovation chaos between the home studio and the new location, all sessions prior to the new studio opening are being scheduled on location with a complimentary upgrade. That means a location session for the price of a studio session gets you a $50 discount! *Discount is not applicable on the maternity/newborn combo sessions.

I don’t get much time to shoot for family but over the Christmas break, we were so lucky to have our far away family visit and I got to point my camera at my niece and nephews who I don’t get to see nearly often enough. Auntie loves you a bunches and misses you all to the moon!!
