25 Random Facts About the Chick Behind the Lens:

1) I cry at sad movies and a good greeting card commercial.

2) I have 2 kids – both girls – 16 & 7 are their ages – not a second marriage, just a wonderful surprise 10 years after the first.

3) Being a Mom is the hardest and best job I have ever had.

4)I’m married to my soul mate – no one gets me quite like him.

5)I love my Mom – a bunch – my Dad died 5 1/2 years ago and I miss him all the time.

6)I have 3 sisters and two brothers living all over North America – we’re tight – I wish I could see them all more often.

7)I’m 37.

8)I like both salty and sweet – popcorn and candy are a wonderful combo. 

9)I’m an American living in Canada with my Canadian husband.

10)I absolutely love it here and don’t think I would ever move again.

11)Even though I love it here, I will always be a Yankee at heart.

15)My two favorite places in the world are Akumal Mexico and Kananaskis Country in the Canadian Rockies.

16)I love camping and would live in our trailer all summer if we could – the season is never long enough for me.

18)I love love love TV – particularly old sitcoms – I can watch the same Andy Griffith, Seinfeld, Golden Girls, Friends, etc… episode an infinite number of times and never tire of it.

19)I hate laundry – hate sorting, hate folding, hate putting it away – if it were socialy acceptable & enviromentaly friendly, my entire family would wear paper clothes. 

20)I’m deathly afraid of snakes – don’t care what kind – poisonous or non-poisonous means nothing to me – I can’t look at them on TV or behind glass, and will go completely bonkers if I ever meet up with one.

21)I trip over flat surfaces.

22)Italian is my favourite thing to cook and crispy tacos are my favourite thing to eat.

23)Red is my favorite color – green runs a pretty close second.

24)I’m a “little” bit competitive – I like to win and find it difficult if I don’t top all of the Wii leader boards in our house. I also enjoy being “right” when it comes to a good debate with my husband but am working on not caring so much.

25)I love my job –  My photography business is like one of my kids – an extension of who I am and I consider myself beyond lucky to call it my career.
